Boat Ride

On a recent (rare!) nice afternoon we all went on a boat ride on Lake Union, which is just north of downtown Seattle. The "Sunday Icecream Cruise" boat has one-hour trips every Sunday afternoon around the lake on its historic little passenger ferry boat. It's a fun way for those of us Seattlites who don't own a boat to get out on the water for a little bit.

Reading and Counting

Here's some video of the twins looking at books, with some good shots of Rose counting. The non-stop din of Auggie yelling in the background should give you an idea of what it's like around here these days...

More Photos at Last!

Sorry, Everyone, we have been extremely busy of late and the computer has been getting a serious workout with Becky's massive daily studying. But here's some photos of recent outings. The weather here in western Washington has been even more cruddy than usual for this time of year--cold and wet--but we have still managed to get the twins outside a bit. They are becoming more manageable now out and about as they mature and their communication skills improve, so we're having fun taking them to new places.

This cow cut-out was at a farmer's market in Issaquah. Unsurprisingly, the kids were fascinated by it.

Theses pix are all from a recent outing to the Kubota Gardens, which is a large japanese garden run by the City Parks Dept.
