Catch-Up - Oops!

Just realized we've got lots of photos from last month that we never posted on here.

Here's Auggie and Rosie (for some reason dressed up in their painting aprons) having set up an impromptu cafe at the bottom of our stairs. Antics like this keep our house constantly disheveled and rearranged these days...

For their birthday, Grandma and Grandpa Yoder sent them this antique, home-made marble roller that they bought at a charity auction. Don't know how long it will survive, given its age and fragility, but the kids have had a good time with it. Seems like one of those great old toys that everyone used to have--even when we were kids--but you just don't see anymore for some reason.

When Grandma Gloria was here over their birthday, we went down to Northwest Trek in southern Pierce County. It's an animal park featuring wildlife native to the northwest, with the highlight being a tram ride through a huge free-range area with elk, deer, moose, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, bison, etc. wandering about freely through the woods and fields. We highly recommend it, by the way!

Fire Trucks!

(Okay, this first one is just a random photo from recently.)

Today was a beautiful sunny Saturday, and we loaded the kiddos up in their new wagon (photos of that later) for a trek up to the local fire station which was having an open house today.
They both had a great time climbing up in the firetrucks, touring the firehouse, and talking to the firemen.

Baby Hamish

On Sunday we made the drive up to Bellingham to see our friends Pat & Eileen and their (almost) new baby boy Hamish (hope I'm spelling that right; it's "James" in Gaelic). He was born on January 20th but we hadn't gotten up to see him yet.

!!?!??!

Becky recently got a whole bunch of random masks from Ikea (which Auggie calls "zakea", confusing it with the song about "Zaccheus Was a Wee Little Man..." that we sing sometimes). Here we are modeling a selection of them.
