Honk Fest West

We went to "Honk Fest West" yesterday while it was in our neighborhood (over the course of the weekend it was also in Fremont, West Seattle, and Georgetown). It's an outdoor festival of amateur bands that play, well...how to describe it? Sort of a cross between marching band music, klezmer, and samba--lots of drums and horns and fancy costumes.



The kiddos had a great time and danced quite a bit.

Easter Sunday

After a morning of hunting and ripping into Easter baskets, we got dressed up and went to church. The kids and their dad were color cooridinated in light green so we took a photo of the three of them together.

Rosie was delighted with the dress and barettes sent to her by Grandma Gloria.
