Bike Race On Our Street

A couple of Saturdays ago they blocked off our street (and a couple of blocks through the Proctor District) to make a loop track for the Twilight Criterium--a series of bike races over the course of  6 hours.  We've never been into racing and didn't really understand all that was going on, but it was pretty exciting having it all right on our doorstep.  The kids even set up a lemonade stand by the sidewalk, but there wasn't really much foot traffic, so they really only sold a few cups of lemonade.
