Pinewood Derby

Recently, August participated in his first "Pinewood Derby", which is an annual cubscout event in which they make racecars from a solid block of wood.  They then participate in a series of races--all gravity-powered by rolling the cars down a ramped track.

August didn't end up winning any of the races, but his design for his "shark car" did get a lot of admiration.
