Tillicum Village

We had talked for years about taking the boat ride out to Tillicum Village and finally did it!  It's a part of Blake Island State Park which is a 45 minute boat ride from downtown Seattle.  The state park is only accessible by boat, and the only public boat is through Argosy cruises.
The "village" itself is a showcase about the native cultures in the area, complete with a costumed stage show and delicious buffet dinner.
Afterwards we wandered down to the beach where there is a small campground and someone had had fun building this structure out of driftwood.
Mt Rainier is actually visible in this photo in the cloudy sunset in the background left.  It was a beautiful evening for the boat ride back.
