Spring Events

Hmmm, this was actually supposed to be two seperate posts, but somehow blogspot stuck the photos into one post, so guess I'll just deal with it all together.

First up: Whale watching

While Grandma Gloria was here at the beginning of April, we decided to cash in Juel's Christmas gift to us of a whale-watching boat trip.  Right now is the gray whale migration and we did see (and follow) several gray whales.  I think we all had a good time but were disappointed that the whales never came up very high out of the water.  We only saw their backs and blowholes--not even a tail cleared the water for us to see.

Secondly:  Spring Fair

I (Rob) took the kids out to Puyallup to the Spring Fair again one afternoon.  We looked at some monster trucks up close (there was a show later that evening),

rode some rides, watched the pig races, and even viewed a few farm animals.
